Recent reports have shown that T-Mobile released its second Samsung Galaxy S2 offering recently. This particular Samsung Galaxy S2 unit has the same features as the first version of the device and its only difference is its white color. This version of the device will reportedly compete with the white version of the iPhone 4S of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL). Samsung Mobile and T-Mobile collaborated for the release of the first white version of the Samsung Galaxy S2.

This upcoming white version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 has a price tag of around $230 after the mail-in rebate. This price tag for this version of the device will require a two-year service contract. This white colored option of the Samsung Galaxy S2 of T-Mobile will reportedly have the same features as the original version of the device from T-Mobile. Both devices will feature the Snapdragon processor instead of the Exynos processor.

The device also features a 1GB RAM as well as a Super AMOLED Plus display screen which has a WVGA resolution. The device will also come with the Gingerbread Android operating system which will feature a customized user interface through the TouchWiz skin from Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is the best -selling handset in the smartphone lineup of T-Mobile since it does not offer any of the smartphones of Apple. Reports did not give any indications if the white-colored option of this popular smartphone from Samsung will be a limited edition device or the service provider will continue offering the white Samsung Galaxy S2 in the market during the coming year.

Reports have also revealed that T-Mobile introduced the first Nokia Windows Phone offering into the market. The Lumia 710 was reportedly announced by the company in addition to the white-colored version of the Samsung Galaxy S2. This latest Nokia device will feature a ClearBlack or Super AMOLED screen, 1.4 GHz processor and the Windows Phone Mango OS.
